Apple Watch Series 9 & Ultra 2 Back After Ban!

After a week of uncertainty due to an ITC ban, Apple triumphs as the U.S. Court of Appeals grants an appeal, allowing the flagship Apple Watch models to return to stores. The court’s decision pauses the ban while awaiting U.S. Customs’ verdict on Apple’s proposed software redesign. Apple expresses enthusiasm, stating, ‘We are thrilled to return the full Apple Watch lineup to customers.’ The watches are now available online and in select Apple Stores, marking the end of a brief period of unavailability.

The U.S. Court of Appeals made this happen. They gave Apple a chance to explain their side and sell the watches again while they wait for a final decision from U.S. Customs. Apple wants to make sure their watches don’t break any rules, especially related to a feature called blood oxygen.

Apple shared their excitement, saying, “We are thrilled to return the full Apple Watch lineup to customers in time for the new year.” They thanked the court for letting them sell the watches again while they sort things out.

While all this legal stuff was happening, we worked really hard to make sure our customers could still buy our latest health tech,” said an Apple spokesperson. They wanted to make sure people could still get the latest and greatest in health and wellness technology.

Here’s what went down: The ITC said Apple broke some rules about a feature called blood oxygen, patented by another company called Masimo. This led to a ban that started on December 26, and Apple had to stop online sales a few days earlier.

Apple quickly asked the U.S. Court of Appeals to let them keep selling the watches while they sort out the legal stuff. The court agreed and said, “Okay, Apple, you can sell your watches for now.

Now, everyone’s waiting for some important decisions. U.S. Customs will decide if Apple’s changes to the watch’s software are good enough by January 12. The ITC has until January 10 to say if they agree that Apple can keep selling the watches throughout the whole legal process. Others involved also have until January 15 to share their thoughts.

While we wait, you can buy the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 from Apple’s website and a few stores. More stores will have them by December 30. And guess what? You can also find them on Best Buy and Amazon.

As we deal with all these legal things, our main focus is still on making awesome products for our customers,” said an Apple representative. They’re positive about the legal process and want to make things right for their customers.

In summary, the breaking news is that the Apple Watch Series 9 and Ultra 2 are back after a short break. Apple and their customers are happy about this, but there’s still a lot of legal stuff to figure out. The next few weeks will decide what happens next for these cool smartwatches in the U.S. market.
