NASA embarks on a daring mission, aiming to touch the untouchable Sun. Scheduled for December 24, 2024, the Parker Solar Probe will fly past the Sun at an unprecedented speed of 195 km/s. Launched in 2018, the Parker Solar Probe is like a super-smart space detective on a mission to solve mysteries about the Sun. “We are basically almost landing on a star,” says Noor Raoufi, one of the scientists in charge. He thinks it’s as big as landing on the moon in 1969!
